FAQS
You will never see us with more than two dogs at one time. We understand if your household has more. We will try to safely accommodate. There’s nothing worse than seeing a stressed-out dog handler holding 6 leashes, being pulled in all directions, and nervous dogs all tangled up.
We will NEVER leave your dog unattended. At our old location, in the South End of Boston, we saw dogs tied up outside brownstones all the time. We believe it’s because walkers would pick up other dogs and take on too many dogs at once. Even if it’s just for three minutes, that’s three minutes too long.
You will NEVER see us staring down at our phones for the duration of the walk or outing. We are fully present with your pups.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require a 24-hour notice of cancellation for all dog outings.Cancellations within 24 hours will result in a full charge of the total service fee. We require 72-hour notice for cancellations of boarding reservations. Cancellations received within 72 hours of a reservation will result in a charge for half the total due. For example, if your dog is scheduled to stay with Friends of Rosebud for 5 nights at $100 per night. A cancellation is made 48 hours before the start date. You will be responsible for $250.
What do I need to leave out for the walker?
Please leave out a leash and collar with visible ID tags. Also, a towel for rainy and snowy days so we can dry their paws off before they come back in the house.
Are you open on the weekends?
Yes. Please give us one to two weeks notice if you need some help on the weekends.
Do you do any training?
We do not offer any training services. We know some great trainers in the area, just ask!
How many dogs will there will be on a walk?
The maximum is 2. Anything more than 2 is stressful on us and the pups.
Will my walker be different each time?
No, you will have one walker that you will meet during your consultation. If anything changes you will be given plenty of notice and a chance to meet the new walker. You will never have random people coming in and out of your home that you have not met before.
How do I pay?
Payment is due every Friday via Venmo.
Are you open on holidays? Do you charge more on holidays?
We are business as usual for some holidays and closed for others. We do NOT charge extra for a holiday. Once I get to know your dog and your schedule, we can plan accordingly for the upcoming holidays.
Do you still come if the weather is bad?
Yes. Rain, snow, or shine.
